Listen. We are done week 7 and JH has not done any better than DC. Can anybody not see this now? Everybody was calling for JH to come in and he has and still has not won a game for us. DC at least had an excuse, he was coming off a major knee injury. I am not just blaming JH, I want everyone to know that right now. I am simply stating that the QB position was not the only problem. It is obvious now that we are not a very good football team. So, this is what I would like to see happening from here on out. Call it a season. Put in Cleo Lemon and see what we have as a back-up or possible starter. Start Jason Allen and any other rookie we might have and get them game experience for next year. It is obvious that JH is still JH and that is not going to change. As it stands right now, we have nothing more to lose. Put in whoever we have and get them game experience. If we win some games then that is better for us. But if not, at least we know what kind of players we have and the experience will be good for our rookies. That is my take on this. I am a Dolphins fan. I love this team and it kills me to know that this season is a wash. Thanks for taking the time to read this and commenting.

I agree we should put in Lemon just to see how he is as a 3rd string, at this point we have nothing to lose. I wouldn't expect him to come in and win but might as well evaluate our Bench Warmers.

I think it's clear that niether the #1 or #2 QB is the answer. Lemon should go the distance now. At least find out hat he can do.

I am in favor of starting Cleo Lemon, he played better than the other two did this past pre-season. With the extra week off to prepare, he might look real good his first start.

That's crazy! Of we put Cleo in we would give up a 6th instead a 5th for Joey but the downside is... we might not win! OOPS, that's what's happening now anyway.

:roflmao: @ Marty Booker's pass to Chambers a year or two ago...

...being the best pass we've seen since the Dan Marino era. That's hilarious!!

its funny because immediately following the game the first words i said were "the joey experiment is over," but now after taking more time to think about it we shouldnt rush daunte to play over a season that is clearly lost and i really see no use in starting cleo lemon at this point and really im sure its going to appear that joey is going to be our backup qb for some time now being that im sure he has lost most potential trade value, however most of his interceptions this year have been a result to poor play from the wrs not joey, we just cant catch the ball but rather just pop it up in the air making it easy for a db to pick it off its really riddiculous for a wr core we were so excited about heading into the season..........im just very dissapointed but the way i see it it cant get much worse...

i still feel more confident when daunte is the qb than anybody

Give Daunte the rest of the year off to rehab, If hes really hurt it will do him good, if hes not... Well he was really really sucking at the beginning of the year.

I wouldn't even consider playing Culpepper again until week 10 or so. I don't want him in there until his mobility is back and he feels 100% comfortable. If that means he won't be back until camp next year, then so be it. Keep him practicing so he can at least gain a bit of comfort with the guys. We're probably, well, HOPEFULLY gonna be running a different system next year, anyways.

But yes, Cleo Lemon should be given a chance. I mean, why the hell not?

Daunte is slow reading defenses and his mobility bought him time to find an open receiver, now he has limited mobility and can't get rid of the ball. He is a human sach machine in which defensive players love to see....they go cha ching...got another one!

I wonder if Saban will start Lemon vs the Bears after the Bye. Bears have a fast defense and well Harrington and C-pep aren't really moble at the moment.

I think it's far from over....but the season is over....the Saban hype is over...and the so called "talent" the Dolphins have on the roster has been exposed.

I don't see how Daunte Culpepper's knee has anything to do with him holding onto the ball and getting it out. The sacks and pressured poor throws were killing the Dolphins. Joey Harrington at least gets the ball out quickly. Unfourtantly part of "getting the ball out quickly" is making the correct decision quickly.

lmao joey harrington? i told u he wouldnt do jack at least culpepper wasnt turning it over after the buffalo game o well there's always next season i hate to say it but our playoff chances are pretty much dead i'll still be cheering for them every week though next year should be better its just dissapointing to have it end like this this year.

go phins :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:
