If Albert Haynesworth lands in Miami, how many cart wheels will you do? I mean what are the odds?? Astronomical! But, what if?

I would do 0 cartwheels...really...18 was a loooooooong time ago...but I would be estatic!!!

You guys should take a hard look at the NT from Nebraska. I'm serious.

This guy is a monster. At 6'3.5" 305 lbs. he has run 4.89 forty and he led his team last year in tackles, tackles for loss, and sacks.

Yes we would probably have to trade up to get him next year and I normally don't beleive in doing that, but in this case I would do it without a 2nd thought.

Haynesworth is great but he isn't durable; he has been missing games the last few years and he is in a rotation.

I say go after "this boy named Suh." Sorry I couldn't resist the Pun. For you youngsters it's an old Johny Cash song.

All Pro’s probation for speeding being reviewed

PrintNASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Titans All Pro defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth is being blamed for causing an accident that left a Tennessee man needing hip replacement and has a district attorney reviewing the Dec. 13 incident for a possible probation violation.
Haynesworth is due to become a free agent Feb. 27 and is seeking to become the NFL’s highest-paid defensive player.
In December, he agreed to 30 days’ probation to divert a ticket for driving 103 mph in a 70-mph zone in March only four days before being cited for careless driving on Interstate 65 south of Nashville. He allegedly was speeding in his 2008 black Ferrari and trying to pass Corey Edmonson of Nashville, who lost control and crashed into the concrete median.
Haynesworth was cited for careless driving and having an expired registration in the incident, charges dismissed in Brentwood City Court on Thursday.

But Williamson County District Attorney Kim Helper said the case is being reviewed and could go to a grand jury as early as March 9 because Haynesworth should have reported the incident to his parole officer

pass

You would pass on him because...let me guess.."he has character issues"...

C'mon...your telling me that you have never sped in your car in your life? If you had access to a Ferrari you wouldn't punch it once in a while? It really unfortunate that someone got hurt.

But not like he went to to night club with a loaded gun and it discharged. Or was convicted of dog fighting....Or busted for substance abuse. Or domestic violence.

So...I say we should still go after his guy in FA. Would love to see him in a Phins uniform.

Lest we forget his 'stamping on Gurode's face' either.

He's probably going to be so ridiculously high priced, I don't know whether he's a plausible option.

Doesn't Tennessee play a 4-3. Has he played much in a 3-4 before? If so, was he equally as productive in one?

Ahh yes..that was a good point about his "stamping"

Even though Tennessee plays a 4-3 he would still transition to a 3-4 well because of his size which would translate on the field. He would require 2 OL guys to block him every play.

Just curious....has a BP run team ever gone after one of the top FA in an offseason? I really don't see us being the front runner in the bidding war for Hayens, It is really not BP way.

I live in Nashville and all of my friends who are Titans fans are completely mixed on Haynesworth. They don't want to lose him because he has been dominant the past two years, but they don't want to re-sign him to a big money contract because there is an overwhelming fear that he is going to pack it in once he gets a big contract.

He has played hurt a lot the past two years because he's been playing for this contract. I have suspicions that he may start to miss some of those games when he's a "made man."

Hanyesworth needs to take a page out of Marshawn Lynch's playbook.

When you hit someone, you have to insist you were not driving.

Kris Jenkins and Shaun Rogers had never played in a 3-4 before, atleast not for an extended period of time, and they made the transition very well. They were thought, by some, to be too tall to play NT but they proved that to be wrong.

Zero.

He's not a fit for our scheme, and it's a proven fact he wants his big payday. Shows alot about his work ethic when he cares more about a fat check than the game itself.

Are you kidding me? How is driving a car irresposibly any different than carrying a loaded gun?

This guy had to have his hip replaced at 25 years old because Haynesworth decided to 'punch it' for fun.

Haynesworth should be in jail, not on a football field.
