That was stupid of them, he offered to take a pay cut and they still cut him...he still has about 2 years in him. Maurice Jones-Drew cant carry the load by himself, unless they have other plans at RB i see that a mistake. He will land on another team as the #2...possibly Tampa
 
Yeah, I just thought it was an end of an era for J-Ville.

We've got enough capable backs as it is.
 
Is anyone else terrified about Freddy T being released by the Jags??

Who thinks the pats take him? I do, and I don't like it one bit...
 
Fred Taylor + Dolphins

How much do you wanna bet the Miami Dolphins line up against Fred Taylor on defense next year. I bet the patriots end up signing this guy. I hope not but im pretty sure, what do you guys think does it make sense?
 
it wouldn't surprise me if we face him,and he'll get tackled&hit just like the other RB's we'll face...
 
I'd be more worried about Thomas Jones, Leon Washington, and Marshawn Lynch than of Fred Taylor.
 
If our biggest worry were to be Fred Taylor....thats the best news Ive heard.
 
I posted this exact thread last night and it got deleted... go figure. I'm kinda scared of this to tell you the truth. The first thing that came to my mind when I heard Freddy T got released was that the Patriots were gonna scoop him up. I think it's gonna happen and I also think Fred Taylor will be very very good for the Pats. He'll only really have 1, maybe 2 seasons where he'll make an impact but the Pats are superbowl ready on any given year. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't happen...
 
If he ends up with any team, i doubt it will be one of the contenders. The Patriots aren't going to sign him, he's done. They dont even run the ball anyway.
