Merged: The Official Jay Cutler Thread

u have nothing better 2 do? if you are serious maybe start watching soccer, football not your thing.

No need to trade an extremely accurate quarterback and this years top pick, when we've already got a bright future with Chad Henne.

if theres a chance of me becoming the new NT for the dolphins at 5'8 and 170lbs then yes there is a chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i only got small arms lol

Henne is younger and he dosen't have diabetus.....

actually its not uncalled for he has come out and said it is harder for him to play in extreme heat, he has to be way more careful. So going to miami would not be ideal.
so yea

Henne is younger and he dosen't have diabetus.....

...and he is a total dick. He was on the radio and stated that he had a stronger arm than Elway. Just what we need. Some dick that thinks he has a better arm than Marino.

that was uncalled for.

I agree there's absolutely zero logic to trading for Cutler, but your comment was unnecesary.

I'm sorry, did I offend your delicate sensibilies? Chad Henne is younger than Jay Cutler. Chad Henne does not have diabetus.

Both those things are facts. Why the hell would any of them be uncalled for? Cutler is a Probowl QB even with his disease, and for that applaud him, but everyone saw how he wilted in the heat this year. It is hot in Miami nearly the entire season. Think.

I certainly hope everyone is right about Henne. I am going to reserve my judgement on him until I have seen him run the offense a few more times. Im not sure how much I would be willing to give to get Cutler but I would certainly be willing to consider it if given the opprotunity.

Yes he has a maturity issue and needs to grow up a bit. He is also a young and upcoming probowl QB. I was in favor of trading up in the draft to get him in the first place so maybe I am a little bias.

Letting go of Chad would be difficult but I would let him go for a younger stronger armed QB that we know can play. 1st rd pick would hurt also but ultimatly I think I might do it. 1st rd pick and a solid veteran QB with maybe 3yrs tops left in him for a young franchise level QB I think is a decent trade. I dont think Denver would agree to that, but they might. McDaniels might be very high on Chad, and with all the friction in denver between him and Cutler, he might be desperate enough to cut ties with him.

if it's been talked about on here sorry

but how about pennington and 25 for cutler?

Why?! We have a good starter in Pennington, and we're developing a good QB in Henne. Why throw away a draft pick that we need for a CB/WR/LB?
