I think they are both worth a look. furrey had an awesome 2006 and stepped up to the plate as the #2, although that was in a a pass happy offense. Bodden is still fairly young. Could have been the product of a bad coaching staff on a bad team. Whats it hurt to try them out
 
Bodden seems like a great option.
I'm sure our FO has had him on their radar.

WHY?

What's his size and speed? Would you cut CAMARILLO or LONDON or GINN or BESS for him?

If so, which one? Because the 5th WR sopot, to be available as soon as MIAMI cuts that certain expensive F/A bust, is reserved for that big and fast playmaking WR that MIAMI's looking for.
 
Lions player's = Dedicated to winning

Lions Organization = not Dedicated to winning

or so it seems
 
Bodden should be our 1st FA signing. He can cover very well in our system and is still young. He would be great next to Will Allen. And Joe Dunn wasnt he a highly touted player at Virginia Tech. He is 6'6" 324lbs and is 27 yrs old. I think he was supposed to be the real deal in college. Maybe bring him in for a look at least for depth.
 
Bodden is a good corner. I don't care how bad Detroit was. He has some connection to the Dolphins through Todd Bowles who was on the Cleveland staff during Bodden's first two seasons in the league. I'd be glad to see us sign him.

Uh you do realize that these players were playing for the worst team in NFL History don't you?? I am sure some of these guys were demoralized and the entire Lions Organization is nothing but a sesspool of crapola. I wouldn't take much stock in it if a player had a down year with that team.
 
We need a shutdown corner to play opposite Allen. That would drastically improve our D. That and a pass rush.
