Hahah why is that?

Hey man, I'm passionate about my team, especially when the very man who tore it apart wants back on it. Ricky-hater loud and proud.

I'm right with you man, nobody is going to feed me that crap about him doing us a favor, or we all make mistakes, or it was really Wannstedt, etc.

You don't have nor do you need an indepth example? That's because you don't have one. That's right! You don't! And resorting to bashing me, accusing me of this site being my life only and disrespectfully invoking my family life reconfirms my first assumption that you have no clue what you're talking about. My how quickly we resort to name-calling when we can't form a response. It has nothing to do with me not liking somebody disagreeing with me. In fact I LOVE to argue. I LOVE to make people like you look ridiculous because you cannot put forth a well thought out defense for your statements. I asked for one and all I got was the equivalent of a playschool diss ....... Go ahead man.....give me another one of your zingers or go create a "We need Freddie Mitchell" thread, because you definately don't have a "true to life litany" of quality answers to legimate questions like "How can Nick Saban help Ricky?" Now go sit by your tv tube waiting for Ricky to bust a 40 yard touchdown run. Go, go, little child, before you miss it!

GO back and read what I wrote. I said nothing about Saban "helping" Ricky. I was stating how Saban would help the team if Ricky created problems. The problem seems to be that my defense was a little too well thought out for you. I see nothing to show that Saban is any sort of counselor or therapist that is going to "fix" Ricky Williams, but I do however see that through his form of leadership can do a pretty good job of fixing this team. Take a quick nap and get your head on straight and then go back to my post and read what I said. Have an adult sound out the big words for you if you have to but stay no point. You love arguing so much that you will argue the wrong thing which goes to the whole reason that I posted in the first place, people on here attacking each other for difference of opinion and then it turns in to this. . . . .personal. I was posting about people bashing each other over differences and the next thing I get is you calling me "friggin stupid" for only having 6 posts. Come on man, is that your In Depth argument for me? Are you really arguing this infatically because you have more posts than me?

Just so you know, the season doesn't start for a few more months. But man did you get me. . .I ran to the TV. . . .but . . . . No Ricky. Oh, that was a playshool diss, I get it. Good one. Man your'e good!!!!
Time for that nap now.

Wow!!! I see a bunch of people who need hobbies. Reading this thread was like watching my 10 yr. old and 4 yr old fight.
Flashback. . . .1984. . . . .middle school. . . .12 year olds trying to get their opinion drilled in to everyone else
.

So we shouldn't bash each other eh? And you decided to point this out by bashing us eh? Effective strategy and let me be the first one to congratulate you on it. :shakeno: This is where my problem lies. Especially since you've got absolutely no respect built up in this very forum. You're fresh on the scene and BAM already slammin' people on here. What kind of responses do you expect when in your sixth post you're practically calling everyone babies and equating their debates to 10 year old banter? C'mon man. You gotta build up respect here in order to come on that strong. Besides, I COMPLETELY disagree with you when it comes to certain posters. They have alot to say. You evidently just don't want to hear it.

As far as Saban fixing problems Ricky COULD create, you still haven't given any definitive answer. You gave me exactly what I knew you'd give me, "Saban's a good leader" crappola. What is that? Define the characteristics of a leader for me, then relate that to something Saban's done in his career that would let you think he could solve the enigma that is Ricky Williams. You can't and again THAT IS MY POINT which you've promptly proven with your irrelevant, generic responses. Which leads me to one of the many problems I have with bringing Ricky back.

Saban doesn't know Ricky. Saban's actually got an authoratative background, known for cussing out assistants and players. You think Ricky's going to shape up from that? You think if he screws up badly, he's going to respond even better after getting a lashing from his coach? I think this is where you gravely underestimate Ricky Williams. He's proven time and time again - IT'S ALL ABOUT STICKY RICKY and it will be that way till the end of time barring a miraculous change. There's too much talent out there for a man like Saban to concentrate on keeping Ricky in line. He's neither a professional babysitter nor a Hari Krishna (forgive me for my lack of spelling on that one), he's a darned NFL coach. To ask him to babysit and clean up Ricky's messes is unreasonable and unecessary.

Oh and thanks for pointing out that the season doesn't start for a few more months .....that's probably why I told you you'd be better off "waiting" Captain Obvious. What's next, a bold and brash declaration that the sun is hot?

For the last time, I said nothing about him being able to fix Ricky!!!! I said simply that so far he has shown an ability to handle this team even if Ricky is a problem, or even to not let him become a problem. I don't think Dr Phil could help RW.

No. I just think Saban will put his butt on the bench if he isn't cutting it and none of this will matter. I truly believe that RW becomes that much of a cancer he will put him on a bus to Tampa and not let him destroy this team.

THE SUN IS HOT?!!!!!!!!! I would have never gone that deep on ya. I was actually going to inform everyone that the earth is round. Pretty cool huh?
I'm sure you already knew that though because you post more than me.

If I did that to my employer they sure as $&R%*$ wouldn't take me back. People make way too many exemptions for professional athletes. The Dolphins are whoring themselves out of long-term integrity to get a few short-term wins. I'm all about winning, but it needs to be done the right way, Ricky Williams (and that rapist safety for that matter) is not the right way.

I think you are being a little extreme here...it's about recouping the value that we can for RW, not about whoring...It IS about long term wins. IF RW returns and regains his stature in the league his value for the Dolphins will start to go back up...now he'll never be worth what he was prior to July of last year, but something more than nothing, which is what we have now...As far as Elam goes, you need to check your facts...he is not a convicted rapist...Read the article on him and his case from the local PB paper (not the Post, but the little neighborhood paper...I'm sorry, I don't have a link, it was in another thread, but I can't find it now. It described the incident, but also described what this kid has gone thru and what he has been doing to "pay his debt" back, as well as what he continues to go thru...He'll never be able to redeem himself in the eyes of the young lady...that is a fact. But he's seems to be trying to rectify his ways...

Wow, "post-envy" much? I didn't know you cared!

from the moment williams steps out on to the field, he will be on the market. i cannot imagine him being anymore than tradebait for this franchise, which has just drafted a 5 star stud to replace him. we'll get a #2 for him after he runs wild.

Forgiving is not forgetting. It's letting go of the hurt. I was really upset when I found out Ricky quit. I was so looking forward to the season and we all know what happened. But thats the past. Nothing we can do will change it. We only have the present. Forgiving someone is one the best gifts you can give to yourself. Ricky is Ricky and he is moving with life, good or bad its his life. Forgiveness allows you to move on too. Peace.

Agreed. I forgive Ricky. I just can't forget.

The difference is, it is probably quite easy to replace you, or me or almost anyone on this board as far as our workplaces go.
Replacing a 230 pound stud RB in the NFL is slighty tougher.

And please, please don't compare Ricky with a convicted rapist. That is just stupid, and quite frankly makes you look and sound like a complete.............well, forget it, you're not worth getting banned over.
