Dolphins sign two

It was just announced that the Dolphins have made two more signings. First, they are bringing back Kieth Traylor on a two year contract. This is great news for the DL, as now Fred Evans won't have to have ALL the pressure on him in just his second season. Now Traylor will be the primary NT in the 3-4 and Evans can spell him.

The other signing was Cameron Worrell, formerly of the Bears. Worrell, a safety, was signed to a 2 year deal and will be an instant player in terms of special teams coverage. Whether or not he gets serious consideration to play safety is yet to be seen

Fins re-sign Keith Traylor

Sorry if this has been posted but NFL.com is reporting that the fins re-signed Traylor to a 2 year contract.

Love the Traylor signing. It means we don't have to go DT in this draft and we can develop Evans and Wright even more. I was thinking Alan Branch with the first pick, but now, its starting to look like either WR, QB, OL or DB. I really think Levi Brown is better suited for RT, but he would be the best Lineman at our position, and he is very talented. I'm starting to think he is the pick. Alot of people thought we reached on Carey in 2004, and now he is one of the best RT's in the league.

It has been posted, but it's cool - you're a good 5 hours behind the east coast. We can still hate you for being in Oahu though right?

w00t got the tractor back!

So what, Campbell hasn't really done anything for the Dolphins.

Thats ok I envy you mainlanders too. I could see the Phins play live and in person!!! :cooldude:

I wouldn't go that far. I am happy with his development especially with his performance and lack of playing time in his first couple years. But he is not at the same level as Willie Anderson, Chris Samuels, Marvel Smith, and even others.

I think I would forgo another OL unless of course it is Joe Thomas which we all know isn't happening.

U don't have to agree, but OL stats suggest that he is. And he is only going into his 4th season . . . seems like he has been here longer than that. He is well on his way to being a Pro Bowler soon if he keeps it up. The guys you named are like 29 and up. Carey is only 25.

Normally I'd be too far away to see them, but I'll get to catch them when they come to RFK this year :D The bad news is, I have to go watch the Buffalo game too because my girlfriend won't get with the program and forget about the Bills...

Yes he is. If the Phins had been a serious playoff contender last season he would have been a pro bowler

I question resigning Traylor. Yes, he clogs up the middle, but that's all he does. A good OC can plan a running game to neutralize him somewhat, because he doesn't move that well. At some point I'm hoping for a mobile NT with enough weight and strength to control the middle, but can move if need be.
