I can see it now...

We trade away our only star WR C. Chambers / and PB CB P. Surtain for the supposed "superstar" WR R. Moss. In the process, keeping WR's M. Booker and D. Boston as our 2nd and 3rd options....

On the first day of our 2005 Training Camp, WR D. Boston bruises his newly pierced nipple, and is out for the season. Leaving us with WR's Booker / Moss / and Thompson. Later that night however, Moss decides to head over to South Beach for some fun. Unfortunately, he ends up on the dancing floor with none other than Ricky Williams, and soon, both are spaced out on X....

Later that week, NFL drug tests come up positive for an illegal substance, and Moss is suspended for the season....

Great move!!!..Just what we need!! :shakeno:

PHINZ RULE!!!!

Actually I'd like to see Moss in the AFC West, but NOT on the Raiders so he can visit Oakland and mouth off to those guys...I'd bet he would be meager Moss on that day.

If Minnesota offer us this trade proposal I'd definitely consider it. I honestly don't think it's that bad of a trade regardless of what most of you say. I'd probably bargain with them into throwing in a draft pick too. But this trade probably won't happen because of all the cap penalties with Chambers and Surtain... and Moss for Vikes... forget about it.

And by no means whatsoever would I ever compare Randy Moss to Ricky Williams unless it's talent wise for their position. Ricky's a quitter. Randy loves the game. Ricky loves smoking herb more than playing football. Enough said.

That is a ridiculous scenario, we do not need a cancer on the team like Moss and I think Chambers can put up Moss like numbers in an effective offense. I also still think Surtain is a top notch corner. His numbers are skewed a little due to the ease other teams had running the ball. His name did not get airtime this year as much. Remember Him and Madison had a couple of great years when we had Bowens & Gardner at DT, because other teams had to test them and they usually won. This year teams saw a lot of 2nd and 3's, and 3rd and 1's against us making it easier to call pass plays against us.

This is what Le Batard is talking about on ESPN. He is saying this is a no brainer to make this deal. I disagree this is way too much for another cancer to be added to our team

No. Nyet. Nein. Never. Nada chance. Ain't no way, Jose. Ain't gonna happen. Are you out of your freakin' mind? What you mean, Willis? Do you hear the words coming out of my mouth?

Like I said earlier, I wouldn't trade for Moss with the Dolphins official, certified, second, assistant, deputy after-practice dirty towel catcher. All world talent and a vacuum between his ears.

^^^ I respect your opinion, but^^^

Some of Moss' character issues coming out of college were directly related to the use of marijuana!

...and I believe he quit on his team just a couple weeks ago!

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. The thing with Randy Moss in my opinion though. Yes, definitely character issues and behavior problems. But whenever he plays good and Vikings are winning... it's not such a big deal as opposed to when they're losing. Because of things he's done in the past, no matter whenever he does something unorthodox the media is all over him. That's what the media wants, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what he wants. I've never questioned whether he has the desire to win, because if he didn't... I wouldn't want him... respect him... and he'd be out of a job possibly. Mike Tice doesn't do much to adjust his behavior problems, I'm sure there's a lot of other coaches that can "tone" him down a bit, but if he's playing great ball, and his teams winning... unless it's an extreme incident what's the problem? Keep fining him that's fair enough, would be the same for any other player. I think Moss likes the attention, and that's why he does the things he does... but like I said if he's playing good and the teams winning I don't see a problem... but if his performance starts decreasing and his team starts losing that's when the media, fans, etc. etc. start talking bad... but is that just for Moss?? No... that goes for any player... any team. And yeah Moss can be a real big douche sometimes, and I personally don't like the way he acts, some things are funny, some things are just a cry out for help... but I respect him as an athlete. Someone needs to whip him into the right mind set where he doesn't become a distraction. I'm not 100% sure if I want him on Miami yet, but if a team offers you possibly the best pure talent WR in the NFL today... I think I'd listen... but after Ricky I could understand why no one would want to take those kinds of chances anymore. Hell we state our opinions, nick saban and the Dolphins organization make the moves.

This trade has "lose-lose situation" written all over it.... :shakeno:

Trading away our best WR and CB, for WR R. Moss a.k.a. "the second coming of lucifer"??? :fire: No thank you...

PHINZ RULE!!!

hell no!!!! LEBATARD IS RETARD those are two top players on both sides of the ball chambers can be a top 5 receiver in the right system. he has better hands and feet, if he had culpepper he would put up numbers like moss.

ummm no. Moss = a bunch of money against the cap. Chambers = a huge hit on the cap. It is impossoble.

Bad poll. Chambers isn't quite the receiver Moss is, but we have to say that to vote NO.
