how about a trade involving Harrington and a wide receiver?

the Lions have some very talented wide receivers. We could definately use one of them. I am not sure I see anything in the draft that is worth taking at wide receiver especially with the first pick. It is said that the Lions are most likely going to trade Charles Rogers. The past two seasons he has been hurt. However he is a very talented wide receiver. The dolphins could address to needed areas at once if they made a trade like this. The compensation would also not be that much more. This would help our team out greatly. What do you guys think?

It depends what they would want in return

I love Charles Rogers I think he has worlds of talent, but we cant afford to give up our first

If the Dolphins and Lions are quibbling over a trade for just Harrington, how much do you think Detroit would demand for BOTH players? Despite Rogers' not doing much so far in the NFL, it would skyrocket the demand.

charles rogers would not cost us that much more. Some of the fans said that the lions were close to cutting Rogers. We could probably get him and Harrington for a 4th round pick.

Millen is the only GM worse than Speilman but he would want nothing less than a first and probably a and another pick

I think that's highly unlikely. Anytime you have a two player trade you typically have to give up more than one draft pick. They'd probably have to trade a player or give up multiple draft picks.

The report tonight on the NFL Network with Adam is that the Lions want better than a 6th round pick. He said right now that the Lions, and Dolphins are involved, and that a third team might sneak in there and give the Lions what they want.

I think McNair becoming available might screw all of that up, however. Hopefully. maybe not.

It will at least throw a big monkey wrench into everthing. The Titans are only 463,000 under the cap, and with that high draft pick in the draft, they will probably pick a quarterback, and will need to seriously come up some cap space to get there draft picks signed.

I like it!
not for our first tho.

looks like the lions want more than a 6th or 7th rounder for harrington. I would still love the trade of Harrington and Rogers if we gave up a 3rd round pick.
