Dolphins sign eight college free agents
The Dolphins signed eight undrafted rookies Monday: Wake Forest safety Quintin Williams, Virginia Tech fullback Doug Easlick, Hawaii cornerback Kelvin Millhouse, South Carolina tight end Hart Turner, Utah fullback Ben Moa, Iowa running back Fred Russell, Illinois linebacker Winston Taylor, and South Dakota State tackle Andy Wagstrom.

btw, dolphan39, i sorted the thing out about the display name and personal avatar.

cheers for the help.

Quintin Williams, FS, Wake Forest

HEIGHT:5.11.2
WEIGHT:210
225# REPS:21
40 AVERAGE:4.60
VERTICAL:36.5

Pros: Quintin is an effective safety against the run. He has excellent size and adequate speed to be effective in run support. He plays with emotion and loves to hit hard, especially the receiver coming over the middle.

Cons: He is very poor in coverage skills and will be a project in regards to learning the techniques and skills involved for good support in this area. Has the physical tools and nice frame to add additional strength & mass.

83 Tackles and 1 INT his senior year. 72 Tackles his Soph and Jr years

This is our best free agent signing so far announced. Frank Coyle rates him the 4th best SS in the draft and ahead of NE draftee Guss Scott and Jets draftee Eric Coleman. He also gives him a higher grade than NE free safety draftee Dexter Reid. I only hope he is right. Ourlads rates Williams higher than Reid and Coleman, but not Scott.
Still to get a guy like this as a free agent is like having another draft pick.

While we're at it, CB Kelvin Millhouse had outstanding numbers in his pro day workout. Hawaii may have a fast track, not sure about that. At 6007 and 208 lbs, huge for a corner, he ran between 4.38 and 4.45 in the forty. 40" vertical and a 9'8" long jump. 21 reps @225 lbs on the bench.
