ill be scouting Vince Young today

I am still not sold on him but he his going to be hard to pass on around the 10th

IMO the best thing for him to do if he wants to be a QB at the next level is stay in school...if i were to draft him this draft id move him to WR he could be dominant

so did hundreds of other QBs that didnt make it as a NFL QB(im not saying he isnt going to be a NFL QB im saying if he wants to be one the best thing he could do is stay in school he is not ready for the NFL right now...just because you have the arm doesnt mean youll be successfull)

Touchdown...Texas. Man, Vince can run better than Vick. Bigger, Stronger, harder to bring down.

Yeah, he does have a NFL arm. It’s his mechanics people worry about, not his arm strength.

As for the person saying he should stay in college another season, I agree. I think, it would best for he and Quinn to stay. It's always better for a QB to stay in college for his senior year, however we need a QB badly so I would like to see both guys come out. This way our staff can select who they think will be best.

If anything, them coming out early will lower their draft position and give us a better chance at getting either one of them.

you are right but the ones that have all the physical tools and arm strenght are not going to be converted to WR they will get their shot at the QB position

What will make or break Vince Young is his love of football.

My ONLY questions are his intangibles. Does he love football? Will he spend countless hours breaking down film and doing extra practice work? Will he be professional and have the toughness and leadership ability needed at that position?

Those are the things that separate a P. Manning from a R. Leaf. Talent alone does not get it done, it takes a serious (possibly obsessive) work ethic to allow your talent to work for you as a NFL QB.

just because vince young has "all the physical tools" doesnt mean he will be a good pro QB

Wow, let me take your opinion over what I've seen, NOT.

I've seen his arm strength, and if you've ever played football, you'd know that QBs throw through "windows" and not really OVER their OL.

As I said, mechanics aside, he has the arm strength, I've SEEN it. Go try to convince someone else who is uninformed that you are correct.
