Darilek played collegiately at Texas El-Paso. He was a 4th round pick of the Eagles in 2004. Darilek is 6'4" 310 pounds. He is a former Tight End who played offensive tackle during his college days. When he was coming out in the draft in 2004, Pro Football Weekly said he has a good hand punch, athleticism and can be nasty but needs to add size and strength.
