A serious question.......Is Culpepper

healthy enough to play? I love the fins and DC to the end but it just seems as if he is not healthy enough to play the game at this level right now. What does everyone think? I'm concerned.

I think if the O-line does not start blocking and mularkey doesn't start calling better plays, Daunte will get hurt more than he is now.

C-Pep seems very tenative about scrambling. It looked like he was running in slow motion.

But, it's only week 2, he will get more comfortable and get his rhythm back.

Agree, he seems very sluggish and slow. I'm trying to figure our if it is the injury or if he is really rusty.

i dont think hes 100%..its been 10 months since the injury....Pep didnt do a very good job but at the sametime, people have to give this guy time to get towards 100% this year..calling for his head now is just ridiculous

I agree that calling for his head is absolutely ridiculous but "health wise" should he be playing?

I agree he did seem really slow. He probably will never be as effective as he once was without his previous running abilities.

He is healthy and playing like his normal turnover prone self..it might be time to give Joey Harrinton a look, or even former division 1-A standout Cleo Lemon.

Why do you come here and post?

kthxbye

He definitely doesn't look healthy and is very tentative and scared about his leg. They replayed one of his throws off his back foot but there was a couple of them that he just didn't step into. There was also the play when he got tackled running to the right and got up limping. He looked a lot better running last week than this week.

Yeah, let's lose another 3 or 4 more games with him under center.

What's shown you at all that Harrington can do any better? His past is just as shaky as what's going on with Pepp right now.

Saw the same thing. But then he stepped up and drilled the TD to Chambers.

I'm no huge Joey Harrington fan, especially wasn't back when we brought him in. But he did look much sharper than Culpepper in preseason - and he was certainly more accurate.

But don't blame me when the cupboard is bare this year. I felt we squandered this season early with the 2nd rounder paid for this bum when we could have moved up to grab Jay Cutler after he surprisingly fell out of the top 10 in the draft. I was on record then that Cutler, Ramsey, Brees or Volek would all have been better options than Daunte Culpepper.

I was laughed at then; who's laughing now?

Physically I think he;s healthy enough. Its mentally that I'm concerned about. He made way too many mental mistakes today. I'm about ready to see what Joey can do.
