John Mullin and K.C. Johnson, of the Chicago Tribune, report the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/11/nfl">Chicago Bears have agreed to a five-year contract with free agent QB Brian Griese (Buccaneers), according to a source close to the player. Financial details weren't yet immediately available. Griese is expected to supplant QB Kyle Orton as QB Rex Grossman's primary backup.

He would have been a great back-up. Looks like we'll have to settle for Maddux. :boohoo:
