Merged: We might lose a home game to EUROPE???

That would suck big time.

My season tickets better be reduced or they should fly my a$$ on over there.

They need to make sure that this is all even for every team on a rotating system. We don't need to be screwed the way the Saints were with their "home" game versus the Giants last year

It's bad enough losing a game but to have to travel to Europe instead of Canada or Mexico will make it tougher on us

But on the flip side, wouldn't it be nice to play a road game over there, especially if it were against someone like Denver or Kansas City, hence taking away their overwhelming home field advantage.

Balt, Cin, NE, NYJ, Buf, Dallas, NYG, Oak

I can't see it being a division game

IS their a big following in Germany and England for a certain team

I agree but since it could be our home game why don't they let us play in Mexico where people are Dolphins fans

Frankly, I'd like to take one of the AFC East rivals over there w/ us so we're not the only ones w/ this disadvantage.

Heck, let's take the Patsies!!!

I don't want to be controversial, but its arguable that a Dolphins game in the UK would have a larger and louder contingent of Dolphin fans at it than a normal Dolphins home game.

That being said though, its pretty rough on Dolphin season ticket holders if it goes ahead. I wonder if they'd discount prices accordingly, or maybe offer them all a free trip to the overseas game instead :)

The whole thing is unavoidable though, while the NFL is certainly rich at the moment, the TV money is not neccessarily going to keep going up. Securing more global revenue to allow continued financial growth in the sport will therefore become more and more important.
 
How ridiculous is the NFL?! If you're going to play in a foreign country and the extra time it takes to travel you should lose an away game not a home game. Both teams should lose an away game and it should be out of the conference game as opposed to a confewrence game that might have playoff implications. That's punishing a team twice to do this bs
 
I can't see us losing a division game although it would be nice to not see all 20,000 Jet fans at our home game


I hope it's Baltimore


It better not be Dallas since they have the biggest following and our home game would be a road game
