everyone seems to think the reason he is speculating retiring is he wants more money. the steelers gave him til tommorrow to decide. if he decides to leave and nick goes to bama which i think he is , i would like to see wayne try to bring in cowher. he 's paying nick nearly 5 mil a year , cowher feels he deserves to be paid alot more . we also have two cowher assistants on the team also. what do you guys think?

Cowher would bring some much needed creditabilty back to this organization.

Cowher is a hell of a coach. If Saban leaves, I would at least throw a big offer at him.

Speaking of the Steelers, what would you guys think of Ken Wisenhunt for head coach? He seemed to get a lot of buzz last year during their SB run. I think he is fairly young and seems to be pretty good with offenses. He certainly isn't affraid to run the football, which could be a good thing for us.

hey i like whisenhunt . he calls a very agressive game , actually he attacks the defense. he would also be a consideration.

I was thinking about the exact same thing

Isn't Cowher still under contract and is essentially going to retire through the term of what's left on that contract. I think just one year.

I'd love to get him, but from what I've heard it seems as though he's looking forward to taking a year or two off with his family in the Carolinas. If we did go after him prior to his Steeler contract running out - I'm pretty sure we would have to compensate the Steelers.

Cowher will do TV next year and then resurface as soon as either the Carolina or Washington job opens.

I'd love to have Cowher.

Where does he live in Carolinas? My parents have a place in Asheville and if it's not to far I can do my job to threaten/persuade him to Miami.
