Its a little out there, but what if the Dolphins went after Urban Meyer, it would be great, because using the shotgun more would help Daunte with reading the coverage and giving him a little more time to throw.

i think he'll be at uf for a long time...

Really good college coach, but let's focus on an NFL coach for now.

you never know, with the right amount of money, he might.

not a crazy idea, especially if they win maybe Urban would want to try out the pros. As long as it is an offensive guy i will be happy.

i like what he did with the team he has a good game plan allthougth i have a no college coach policy i would prefer him to pete carrol i just dont like caroll
he is another saban i hate what he did to stovanovich.as for the gators head coach i bet saban look good too when he won the championship

No way, it'd be Spurrier v2.0. Its easy to look like a genius when you can simply put more talent on the field due to being in prime recruiting territory.

Incidently, Meyer is playing tonight with Zook's kids.

LOL I have been wondering how long it would take for someone to pose this question since the game started.

It truely is possible, however, he is just another Saban. He left Bowling Green after a few years for Utah, and Utah after a few years to Florida. The next step... to the pros?

I attended UF for the last 4 years. Meyer would NOT make a good NFL coach. ALL of his plays occur in the shootgun. He does not adapt to his players. It is obvious Chris Leak is not a option QB, yet he play him like he is one. All of his offense is the spread offense. He knows nothing about the defense. The defensive coordinators control the D 100%. His offense will not work in the NFL IMO.
