Whats the story about this guy? Is he coming back? i remember there was talk about him coming back for the 2007 season.

If I remember right he wouldn't accept an injury settlement from the Dolphins and then was cut or something. I really don't know what he could contribute after sitting out 2 full seasons or what his thoughts towards the team/organization are after what happen with the injury thing.

He will be back and healthy and ravenously hungry. This guy is a ball hawk with a 40 inch vertical and 10 inch hands to intercept, bat down and rip into and rip down. He is just one reason we don't need any second day draft picks, they won't make the team anyway. We might as well package our 4,6, and 7th round picks with the guys we want to trade and obtain first day draft picks.

^^

People really need to get over Will Poole. He is gone, and not coming back, and probably sin't going anywhere with anyone in the league.

Would you mind sharing your information on this matter with the rest of us. Where are the reports that say he is finished? Last info I had we reacquired the rights to him when nobody picked him up off medical inelibibility. I haven't seen anything saying he was finished and would not compete at mini-camp or pre-season. Did I miss it or is this just your opinion? Please reply.

For the last time, Will Poole was released back in December!! He is NOT on the roster!!

Sorry, the other website still has him on the roster and signed through 2008.

It's an opinion based on the fact that we waved him, and despite some tryouts, no one else has picked him up. I think it's safe to say that he's the Yatil Green of our defense.....had good potential, never lived up to it in a game, always seriously injured.

Sure guys can come back from this kind of stuff, but to count on a guy who is on waivers or base our draft on him would be insane.

who could he have had a tryout with if he was just considered healthy in late december??

How long are we going to keep wanting this guy back on the team? I doubt he would very effective in our secondary now anyway given that he's missed two full seasons of live action. I hope he can rebound his career, but the secondary needs to upgrade, and Will Poole now can't do that. He would be strictly depth, but I would prefer getting a star CB and having guys like Daniels and Goodman for depth.

WILL POOLE WILL PLAY AGAIN...most likely not in Miami...think he signed on with someone about a month ago...too bad too...young man has tremendous ability...if the fates send him back our way, we better not pull a 'Brees' again!

It will be what it will be.

Yes, but that hardly means he won't show up in camp after signing a garden variety contract. It hardly means he will either. It doesn't mean he retains any of his skills, it doesn't mean he hasn't got them either. If he shows up in camp and shows us something, then it's something. Otherwise, he's just an ex Dolphin.
