It seems we are signing a bunch of guys that are below-average starters or backups.

I like that we got Ferguson; he is a 33-year-old backup DT for the Cowboys.

These receivers we signed are probably inferior to Derek Hagan.

The Guard we signed adds mobility... but he's off-balanced and falls down a lot.

Starks from Tennessee is terrible.

McCown has Cleo Lemon potential.

Where are the star players on this team? I'm not impressed with this new GM at all today.
 
Ferguson was a Starter in Dallas but got hurt and Wilford was the #1 WR in Jax
 
Backups are cheaper and Parcells knows exactly what he is doing so I believe he is signing them for a reason.

I'm happy with who we have signed so far. What do you want us to do throw Joey Porter money at a superstar past his prime?
 
I forgot that the Fins were the only team with cap room and that there were a ton of super-stars out there to sign

what a buzz-kill!!!!!
 
Seriously? We are making smart signings. We are not overpaying yet receiving under-rated players that will beneifit our team for the long rebuilding process. We are not attempting to build a playoff caliber team at this moment but are for sure making moves towards it. Would you have rather had one two at best "starters" and that's it. Or continue to fill our needs to build a better "team". But like they said before I got it, we can save money on our GM and hire you. Are one player would be great....making commercials. Lol.

Well we saw how signing big name free agents and trading high draft picks for one year wonders got us. So why not take a lot of younger guys who come fairly cheaply and try to build a team.
 
Please name me the STAR players out there to be had in FA.. Asante Samuel and who else?? This FA wasnt loaded with star players man.. get over it.
