FOXSports reports that in addition to Percy Harvin, North Carolina WR Brandon Tate tested positive for marijuana at February's NFL Combine.
We already knew about Harvin's test, which may cost him a spot in round one. Tate, a projected mid-round pick coming off a torn ACL and MCL, could fall out of the draft completely. Fewer than a dozen players tested positive for weed in Indianapolis, and the rest reportedly were low-profile prospects.

This could push the Dolphins into taking a WR at 25 or 44 if they weren't planning to already.

Good thing we are not intersted In Harvin, he might lead RW down the wrong path. LOL

Def. don't need guys like that here, especially considering how fire the bud is in Miami lol.

are you serious? If thats the case...theres no doubt he could be picked in the later 2nd, or even 3rd round, which would make him a steal. Ricky Williams used to do all that, and Parcells turned him into a better person. If a talent like Harvin is there in the 3rd, he'd be a steal.

where did you get this info?
Harvin, Tate On Positive Pot List

Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com reports that Florida receiver Percy Harvin and North Carolina wideout Brandon Tate appear on the list of positive marijuana tests generated at the Scouting Combine.
NFLDraftBible.com reported earlier this month that Harvin tested positive — but that fact got lost in the reality that the web site swung and missed on four other allegedly positive results.
We later confirmed that Harvin tested positive.
Tate’s name had been making the rounds over the past week or so, but we refrained from outing him for legal reasons. (Translation: We was a-scared of gettin’ sued.)
We reported Monday that fewer than ten names appear on the list. This implies that, possibly, there are more positive results than Harvin and Tate.

I hate to read this because I would have been happy with either guy. I was thinking if we didn't draft a WR in the first then Tate might be a target in round 2 or 3. Just stupid for kids to make this kind of a decision.

yeah, how much do you think this cost them. How many millions of dollars are they not going to get because of this. I'd be afraid to give them guaranteed money.

too bad it all happened when he was in his prime and Parcells got him on the tail end of his career. He might be a steal in the second, but what good is a steal if he is always suspended.

marijuana is going legal within the next five years. It isn't nearly as bad for you than cigarettes. who cares..

Steroids are also way worse for you.
