Merged-Will Matt Roth Start/Has been taking boxing lessons.

Well who else would? He's the number 1 reason Kevin Carter was let go, that and cap space.
 
I'm expecting him to start at this point. I don't think he'll see a full-time share of the snaps just yet, but significantly more than he got last year. A lot of it depends on what we do in the draft. If we spend a relatively high pick on another defensive end who fits the 3-4, that will cut into his playing time.

He needs to turn it up a notch this year, we can't afford for him to regress or have a down year.
 
I think he will havet to, unless we draft a DL on the first day.

Didn't Carter play DT, while JT and Vonnie were the DE's.

Or am I playing too much Madden??:lol:

Vonnie seemed like a DE because of his high sack total (possibly the biggest snub at DT last season for the Pro Bowl) . . . but it was definitely JT and Carter/Roth as our DE's. Vonnie was the 4-3 DT alongside Traylor . . . and a 3-4 DE w/ Carter in those sets.
