This game is the perfect example of this thread i started last week about our receivers deserving most of the blame, 2 more picks cause the ball bounces off McMikes hands (and dont say he doesnt count as a receiver casue he is a tight end) and we are in the 3rd quarter and our #1 all world reciever doesnt have a catch. So all you people who said the receivers are the least of our problems need to look again.
 
i agree totally. I am sickened how the announcers kept talking about how favre just throws it up and hopes his recievers make a play.... .and they do..... the only plays our recievers are making are plays for the other team. other than welker you dont see them doing anything other than running there route and if its not a perfect throw not trying. or just letting the ball bounce off them... And I used to play reciever and the first thing I learned is catch it with your hands, why the hell are they all just trying to catch it off there shoulder pads and chest thats why it bounces right off
 
I think saban needs to have a full days worth of practice just playing catch. and doing catching practice. we need to include the dbs on this practice too because they are just as bad, everything hits them off the hands ever time.

I have. Everytime he gets open, Harrington overthrows him.
 
We've got decent personnel, they just aren't making plays. It's as simple as that. If Chambers is a #1 NFL WR, he needs to start creating plays.

Our "skill" positions suck. Alex Marvez' article this morning focusing on McMichael and Chambers is a joke.

Hey Alex! Blow smoke up someone elses :moon: I can't fill mine with anything else as it's full of McMichaels tipped footballs....

Or was that just an :roman529: article to get some quotes? These reporters kill me...

Sure... Fiedler UNDER threw him. Lucas overthrew him. Feeley overthrew him. Frerotte overthrew him. Culpepper overthrew him. Now it's Harrington. I have a grand idea for our "playmaker"....

How do you make a play on a ball thrown out of bounds or 10 yards over your head? You CAN'T. Joey is pathetic.
