Merged: Wx Forecast: Mia at Jets - High near 65

It beats last week's forecast in KC by a lot. I heard it may be over 60 at kickoff but in the 50's later on, and a little rain shouldn't hurt...same with the wind.

yea 50-60 degrees is a hell of a lot better than -10 degrees haha

I live like a half hour from the stadium and right now its real foggy out and it was drizzlin a little bit. We gotta get the run game goin this game. We need a breakout game where Ronnie and Ricky both run for 100 yards. I think Ronnie's the better running back all around. If Ricky can get his speed goin and get some open room he can be gone but i think Ronnie finds the holes better and is more of a playmaker. Ronnie should get more of the carries.

I thought the KC game was going to be run first and pass second...you just never know what Henning will pull...

The following is the National Weather Service forecast for East Rutherford, NJ for Sunday, Dec 28:

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. High near 65. West wind between 9 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

By the way, I am a meteorologist and trust this forecast over weather.com. Expect a cold front to push through East Rutherford, NJ just before kickoff. The best chance of rain will accompany the cold front, then dry air will rapidly move in behind the front. We are only looking for a 50% chance of measurable rainfall.

Another way of saying it, there is a 50% chance of no measurable rainfall. Even if it does rain, only expect less than one tenth of an inch. In other words, barely enough rain to wet the ground.

The alignment of the stars is starting to get a little weird. 65 and sunny, r u freakin kidding me.

Somebody asked me today, "Chip, if you could be anywhere in the world, where would you like to be?" And I said to him, "Prob'ly right here - Elko, Nevada, our nation's high at 79 today." Out in California, they're gonna have some warm weather tomorrow, gang wars, and some *very* overpriced real estate. Up in the Pacific Northwest, as you can see, they're gonna have some very, very tall trees.

:err: The current weather in Elko, Nevada is light snow with a temperature of 21 degrees.

In 1972, when Miami went into Pittsburgh and beat them in the playoffs in January, the temperature was 65 degrees. The warmest day in that's day's history for the city of Pittsburgh. It's still an all time high record temperature for that date in that city.

It's destiny tomorrow boys and girls. Destiny.
