The only purpose I could see Favre serving on this team is some type of consultant. Him starting would not only set us back a couple of years, but I would also undoubtedly lead to a losing record...

The sad thing is our defense is getting better all the time and I think we are a top ten defense in the NFL right now, but we don't have a franchise QB. By the time we get our next franchise QB our defense will be a lot like the defense we had when Dan Marino was here. We just can never have a great defense and a great QB here at the same time. It gets old fellas. I am 45, and I am starting to wonder whether this team will win another SB before I am in the rocking chair, and crapping in my Depends in the nursing home.

TELL ME WHY IT WOULD SET US BK A COUPLE OF YEARS ? I WANT TO HEAR ?if henne isnt the answer this year if henne plays dose that still set us bk a couple years ? naaaaaa dont think so . and imo our ol is better than nimmys was when favre was there and if giving time favre would be a very good QB here and he can take a beating if you watched him in minny last year but just dont think with our OL he would have to take a beating i belive he would help our team this year help sell tickets and fill the home stadium this year then next year go after Luck or one of the other 2 QBs thats coming out But IMHO he couldnt hurt if Henne isnt the answer .who else we going to put in that will help us in the long run ? we dont have nobody. so i would be for bring in favre for one year.

thats what im saying why not atleast bring in favre for one year if henne isnt the answer he could hurt not one damn thing because we dont have a young QB right now on our roster that we could put in and groom ? WE DONT HAVE ONE so if henne dosent start showing he will be here for a long time i see nothing it could hurt hell we might even get to see a lil excitement if we did
Henne already failed and we already know he isnt the guy. Stop saying that ****. Too many of you are talking about "sink or swim" "do or die" "his last chance" "see what he has with a new OC" etc etc etc. Henne ****ing blows. Its over already. We already found out what Henne is. Most of that **** is all **** you Henne lovers said going into last season. He's terrible. Go watch the 4th qtrs of those home games we lost down the stretch to the powerhouses known as Buffalo, Cleveland, and Detroit. Especially that Cleveland game. Thats Chad Henne.
Having said all of that, I want no part of Brett Favre. Is he better than Henne at age 73. Probably. But, he still blows and is a turnover machine in his own right. Favre does nothing for us. Just a different guy in there that ****ing blows and turns it over way too much for us to win. We need a legit NFL QB. Orton or Palmer are the only guys that we could even possibly get at this point and it looks as though those hopes are dashed as well. Were ****ed.
Consultant for what? The grounds crew? Favre going to come in and show them how to spread manure properly. Which would be ironic seeing how he has basically spread manure all over the field for about 3 years now while actually playing. Favre is a load of ****.

come on bro when he has time he makes good decisions im not saying he want throw some ints but if you go look when he dose throw more ints he is under alot of pressure but when he has time he hits his target alot more than e misses i mean before we try and get him i would be all for making one last chance at palmer but denver isnt going to trade orton there thinking about either T BOW being traded now instead of orton but seriously we all know that if we can get palmer and its henne left going into the season i would seriously bringing favre here for JUST ONE SEASON i mean our OL will be top 5 or atleast top 8 and with time favre will be on target more than he would miss and it would atleast make me a lil more excited going into the season
what are you trying to say im having a difficult time readin what you typed for some reason i cant quite put my finger on it but i think i need to put some contact solution in my eyes and try again but anyway what makes you feel so confident that our ol is guarenteed to be top 8 id really like to know how thats for certain i know we have long but everything else at this point is kinda up in the air on the ol because sparano played musical chairs again and we have a rookie who seemed to have problems with the snaps in college and brett favre ****ing blows pal
