Merged x10: Hey Look! A Brett Favre thread.

This is not the fault of the writers, it is all Tony Sparano’s fault 100%. Omar Kelly has done nothing but run with a story that was given to him by our over the top competitive advantage worry wart of a head coach. What would have been wrong with TS just squashing this? If the rest of the league knew we weren’t interested Brett Favre what would that hurt? Not to mention he can’t even give our current QB’s the very smallest vote of confidence by just saying, NO WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN BRETT FAVRE.

My opinion is Sparano would either seriously take Favre as his QB or he is just stupid (which many here believe to be the case). Sparano made this story, not Omar Kelly.
 
The only way this would be remotely possible... If Ross thinks it could sell tickets and forces the regime to make a run at Favre... With that being said its not happening.
 
The only thing worse than Farve coming out of retirement for the 10k time... is coming out for the 10k time and coming to Miami.

How is it not the fault of the writers when Dave Hyde started it and Omar ran away with it? Tony just responded to a question about Favre stating in general that they would leave no stone un-turned.

Tony's better off saying, "we are very happy with the QB's we already have" and secretly do whatever he wants.

And to take it a step further. Sparano could have laughed in the reporters face and said no ****ing way. But in the end he doesnt have the final say on personnel matters. So he would have had the same answer if asked about Randy Moss (for example).

You know your QB situation is pretty crappy when you are even clicking threads like this.
 
I would take an old *** Favre over Henne any day. To be honest that's all we need to get in the playoffs is a decent QB. What this regime doesn't understand is that we will never get the running game going until we get a Quarterback that can scare defenses. Mr. fist pump can bring in new offensive lineman every year and it won't matter if we still have Henne. But instead they choose to put all the pressure on the defense and not care about bringing in a franchise quarterback.
 
Can't stand Favre. But it's gotten so sad that I would actually gladly accept him over Henne at this point...
 
I hate Brett Favre, but I'd take the headlines just for the lulz

Not like this team is going anywhere and it's not like he'd slow down the development of some promising young QB
 
This is why we should take Brett Favre.

The last 2 coaches he has played for were fired at years end.

Favre = Sparano gone.
