marshall will be a free agent after this year. i think he could be the answer at wr. he will come with a #1 wr price but i think its time this team finally puts some serious money down on a proven free agent. the bidding will be high with no salary cap next year. this is a type of move that super bowl teams make. we need to get a proven wr not one in the draft who will take a couple years to groom. he has had some issues with the denver brass. does anyone think its a possibility?

I hope we get him just a much as any one else. He would be a great fit and finally give us our first #1 WR in over a decade but I think Denver will not allow him to leave just as they did in the preseason we also have to take into account his issues

With no CBA for 2010 and an uncapped year he would be a restricted free agent. So you would be looking at giving up multiple draft picks, probably a 1st and a 3rd round pick, and a big contract to get him. Plus, Denver can and probably will match the contract anyway. If they don't sign him to an extension before it ever came to that. Marshall isn't going anywhere, he'll resign in Denver.

I don't see Parcells going after a "diva" receiver anyway. Marshall is definitely one, so I would cross him off the list.

hes really toned down his issues this year, i have him on my fantasy team and ive been following him all year. ill take his numbers any day rather than not have him because he does a little whining

i know we need more mediocre receivers that are happy to have a job but will be nothing more than mediocre receivers. keep them coming because its always worked for us. who needs a #1 wr with an ego.

where did I say anything about wanting a mediocre reciever?

You mean a #1 reciever with an ego like TO.. He has tons of rings doesnt he. :rolleyes2:
 
I would love him. But He would cost wayy to much to get him, but even our owner wants a superstar reciever so idk what gonna happen in the coming months
