They did but for only last year.He only played in one game last year for 8 plays.He was never very good but after his injury he hasn't been the same.The odds are he will be a camp folder.

I have a gut feeling some of you are confusing Al Johnson with Andy Alleman. Don't know why, but I just have that feeling.
Johnson is the 30 year old center who we signed in late November(after Camarillo got injured). He was a backup for 4 games. Alleman is the 25 year old former third round pick(2007) who we claimed off waivers from the Saints right before Week 1. He stated four games at LG after Smiley got injured.
I don't mind losing Johnson(who did basically nothing). Losing Alleman would have been a tougher pill to swallow. Lucky for us, Alleman is under contract.
