Free safety Antrel Rolle.
Rolle, a former University of Miami star in the Pro Bowl for the first time, is in a sort of limbo right now because the Cardinals are scheduled to pay him $12 million in salary and a bonus in 2010. The idea behind having such a whopping figure in the final year of Rolle's contract is to force both sides to renegotiate a new deal or simply cut ties.
And while Rolle insists he loves the Cardinals, he also loves the idea of playing for the Dolphins in South Florida, where he grew up, played at Homestead High and The U.
"That would be nice," Rolle told me. "You know what I mean. I would love to take some of the burden off of mom and dad seeing as they travel to every game. Miami is home for me. I haven't played here in five years, but hey, we can make it happen."
Rolle repeated that his parent fly across country to every game he plays. That's 16 weeks of travel and he'd like to lighten their burden by giving them eight home games in Miami.

That would be Awesome, a true playmaker at FS. He can recruit Dansby after we sign him.

Rolle is going to be 28 in December...

And I'd love me some Antrel Rolle.. He is actually a playmaker and can cover somewhat... Not a stiffy like Gibril.
 
if it is a uncapped year and both Wilfork and Rolle want to play in miami we should bring them in along with Dansby and A. Bryant and then we are set as a team i know that will never happen bringing all those guys in though
 
Parcels realizes the year is uncapped and I expect him to be agressive buying his grocerys.

I second that Clemens is not ready for the full workload of a S. Rolle is proven and would be a nice cushing for the time it takes Clemens to fully get ready to take over
 
Guys just cause we drafted Clemons it does not mean he is a legit starter. Can he be, sure, but Im not comfortable having and second year player manning the most important position in our secondary and learning a new defense.
 
Chances are good, I like to think Hill & Dawkins were brought into Denver cause Nolan asked for them. So, I could see Nolan asking for Rolle for his secondary. He revamped Denver's secondary.
