i think we need to go ahead and go after roy williams. we have one wr that has been consistant and thats camarillo (or however you spell that). other teams know we have no outside threat and are stacking. we cant keep doing these swing passes. we have two great TE's but they need help from the outside.
 
I'm in favor of signing Williams but I'm hesitant to give up draft picks unless it's a great value. A second would be good value, you can even make a case that Williams is worth a 1st but no way I give that up.

Ideally we'll sign him if he becomes a free agent but my guess is that Detroit will franchise him in the hopes of maximizing his trade value.
 
the hilarious thing will be if they franchise him and nobody trades for him. They'll be paying two #1 wideouts and further delay any hopes of rebuilding the franchise.
 
Can he cover Johnson? Nope. I can't wait until the trade deadline passes so we can stop with these threads. **** Roy Williams. Keep the picks.

We're not going to get Michael Crabtree in the draft.

We probably won't get a steal like Colston in the 7th.

Roy Williams is 26, 6'3, 200+ lbs and fast.

We have no #1. Camarillo would be a pesky little #2 if we got one.

Offer a 3rd for Roy. I'd give up that JT second. JT for him straight up would have made this city happy. It's good GMing.

Roy Williams has never done anything significant. He's not worth what the Lions want for him, and he wouldn't help this team in the secondary their weakest area.

yea lets go out an give a guy 30 mil. guaranteed and watch him drop 5 passes like he did last week. no thanks he's an undercheiver.

right now ginn is a 3rd and cam is a number 1. bess is a nuber 2 and i dono how cuz he barely does jack **** in the WR game either

And since when won't we get crabtree? We're only 1 game better than the texans and rams now. I mean, why is it unrealistic to assume we can't get Crabtree in the draft?
