merged x4 No Blackout! Dolphins Game Televised!

I dont think it will really sell out, but Huizenga will buy the remaining tickets to lift the blackout, Im almost certain
 
i really hope this is the week we change our identity as a fanbase, i will do my part,i will arrive early and scream louder then i have before. our team deserves my best effort
 
change doesn't happen over nite. look at the devil rays took em the whoile damn season and finally into the playoffs to hopefully fill their building. the blackout is always lifted im sure you will find some empty seats in the corners of the upper deck
 
I would be surprised if the blackout is not lifted. The dolphins have been donating tickets to local non profits the last two weeks to try and put rear ends in the stands.
 
I always thought that the tv networks bought up the rest of the seats to avoid the blackouts.
 
Why is this rule in place again, and is it for every home market in the country?

The rule is for every team. It is set in place to sell tickets. They believe if you live with in driving distance that you should get there. I agree! :up: I drive from Tampa for every game! :woot:

Get yer butts in those seats S. Florida!!!

They do so they can sell advertising space to there customers.The game must be declared a sell out by thrusday at 4pm according to Nfl rules to be televised locally.I have seen the local Tv stations go all the way up to buying 10,000 tickets for the right to broadcast
 
Any Blackout News?

Isn't 1pm Thursday the deadline to sell out? Did we ask for an extension or did we sell out? Does anyone know?
 
IM sure we will sell out.. Wayne always finds a way to spread out those tickets
