Just saw Phillip Buchanon got cut from the Texans. I know he has been a huge bust, but hey he has to be better than Eddie Jackson.
 
Hey atleast he has a chance of making a big play by guessing right....I dont see Eddie Jackson making any big plays any time soon.
 
He would probably be cheap too and he could help out returning.
 
I'll take a wooden post 10 yards from the line of scrimmage over Eddie Jackson or Lehan.

Buchanon had 1st round talent and played that way for his 1st 3 years. Hasn't performed as well in Houston. He will be a major upgrade for us at that position and a steal if he can perform like he did early in his career.

I HOPE WE GET HIM...ALTHOUGH i heard he has character issues ( from what college? hmm) ...but we need help....

also, got word to day that troy vincent signed with washington...
 
He is still real young and obviously the potential is there. C'mon Nick show your DB coaching skills that we have heard of.

It was Buchanon's first year there and his worst full season. Of course, their defense blew back then and he had a bit of personal issues with Capers I think. But considering Saban and his tendency to acquire troubled players, he could do worse than bring Buchanon in.

It depends on how bad the blood was between he and Capers. Clashing with a coach is one thing, but if this were a Shell-Porter type of dispute, there is no need to even consider him. I'm guessing we'll see soon enough. Saban should bring him in for at least a look unless Dom calls it off.

If Saban doesn't bring him in, you know Capers was involved and that the Buchanon-Capers rift was worse than people said it was.
