Of course he cannot. He has only played one year in the past few. He is a project & personally I do not think the Saints will let him go unless he has shown absolutely no potential at all.

If marino was in his last years as a dolphin and another team was looking at him would you say they shouldnt take him cause "whens the last time he won a championship." By all means, mchpherson aint marino, and I dont even want the guy, but you cant say its because no black qb's have won a super bowl lately.

If the vikings had some D culpepper would have one by now easily. If the vikings were to release culpepper and we were interested would you not want him?

Another gem from the past regime. We trade a third round pick for this bozo and he plays three games before getting hurt and totals all of about 12 yards. A year later, we are begging someone to just give us a sixth round pick, a LONG-TERM project at QB that has the mental capacity of a ground squirrel, or a nice pair of socks to get rid of this goof who is so tenative to leave the backfield, you'd swear he was agoraphobic!

Guys, if he gets cut because he can't make Saints 4th string, you want him here? are you serious? we have a plethora of guys who can't make 4th string already on our roster at QB. We're talking SAINTS 4th string, right? the saints? ... because they're loaded with talent at QB...

i'm more interested in a guy who has value that can actually help us...not another project.

Couch, McPherson, Maddox.... man we are REALLY scraping the bottom of the barrel here!

trying to get a guy like mc Pherson is worse than what we got with Aj . Which is something of a project. Although With Aj we at least got a guy who had actually played in some nfl games. And

Mc Pherson even by the Saints coaches is going to be a project. So why would we go for a guy who is Practice squad material if that. Right now I kind of like what I see out of our current project in Brock. Will he ever be the guy. I don't know. he may be destined to sit such as Sage's fate.

If anything I would rather see us either pick up a quality guy somehow . Or wait and see what next years draft brings.
