Daunte doing Yoga

If you guys go to the Sun-Sentinel website there is a video of him doing Yoga. In the video he explains how it is helping him rehabilitate. If any of you guys are interested check it out here:

If we end up keeping him I hope it helps his mobility, because quite frankly the guy had none last year. You kinda feel bad for the guy, he has tried everything to come back from his injuries. I think that if he is not gonna return to form and if he doesnt fit the system he should go somewhere he does. I really think we need a young QB and a Vet that lead the way and tech him this offense.

Well, it's nice to see the guy trying hard to get back in shape. Hopefully it pays off.

His desire to play and play well for this team is truly unappreciated.

I support him the same way I do Ricky.

I appreciate his desire, but if he doesnt fit our future plans he should be let go to some place where he fits.

I dont care what "sources" tell PFT or Adam Schefter, it is clear that Daunte is working his butt off to come back strong for this team. Hopefully this helps. The fact that he can even do those stretches, from my perspective, shows improvement. Last year, it looked almost as if he could barely bend his knee when dropping back.

YEA WHAT HE SAID!!!

I'll third that!

I’m intrigued by the thought of a double Yoda, ‘er Yoga, backfield.

But seriously, Daunte is doing what Daunte needs to do to get Daunte back on ANY Football field, not specifically the field in South Florida. I think he is just as aware (if not more) of his tenuous position as we are.

(Let’s not forget what a big deal Ray Lucas made about his Pilates classes & we all know where THAT got him….)

Believe it or not, yoga is getting more popular with footballl players. Our old D-lineman Kevin Carter has done yoga for years like Ricky has. That may be a big reason why he hasn't missed any games his entire 12 year career because of an injury. I hear Zach does all sorts of health and fitness stuff so he's probably tried it once or twice. As a fan, I'm all for our guys doing whatever they can do to fight off the injury bug and improve their athleticism, etc.

Daunte's right about that stuff in the video. It helps with flexibility and quickness and it probably helps prevent some injuries. It works those "core muscles" and stretches them ligaments out good. If Ricky's back, maybe he can talk Ronnie and some other players to try a few lessons. They don't have to tell anyone about it. Why worry about it anyway? I read somewhere that the whole LSU football team has been doing some yoga the past few years.

As long as Ricky doesn't show them how to roll a phatty.

Culpepper gets no respect for trying to come back for injury from fans it seems but Porter gets big money and basically gets his gang to assault a player and people act like this is what the team needs.

Maybe if Mr. Alabama would have signed Brees we wouldnt be having this discussion.

Honestly, was that really necessary????

:deadhorse

Give it a freakin' rest about his past. Ricky has submitted paper work to the NFL that he's passed all his drug tests.

These comments are not funny, but rather childish and stupid.

Who knows I mean you can go alot of places with that. I mean if Wanny had drafted Brees in the first place, if we had traded for Phillip Rivers, If we had traded up for Matt Leinhart, if we had traded down and drafted Aaron Rodgers, If we had drafted Brody croyle.
