Has anyone read the story posted in the Sun Sentinel's Sport Section? This is starting to look bad for him, at this stage, you start to wonder whether or not he will play again. I hope all goes well.

I read the posting but knee surgery is a two way street. Now that I look at how far he has come along, I start to realize that Saban should of never let him play the first four games of the season. I don't know what made him think Daunte was ready for primte time.

I have several folks in the family who have had knee surgery and they all say the same comment, it's never the same.

Yeah it isn't. I mean Frank Gore and Willis McGahee absolutely suck ...

IR, this isn't baseball.

Anyways, this is good news. The main goal is to have him healthy for 2007.

This looks to be a good thing. That pain Culpepper kept talking about was addressed.

Cuerbo did you read it first before posting?

Yeah, plus the article reads:

Saban said this will not affect his status on the roster currently or in the future. He also said that he was relieved Andrews found the source of discomfort.

 :cooldude:

Cool, they fixed the problem.

Now Why the **** did they take so long?

I don't know, something about being medically cleared, participating in every single session of training camp, and looking fine in preseason games, perhaps?

The folks in your family aren't pro athletes. Most athletes who come back from knee injuries actually wind up with stronger knees compared to pre-injury performance, due to the strenuous rehab.

Wow. I really can't believe he said it will not affect his status on the roster. I would think - depending on the recovery time - that Daunte would move to the IR and open up a spot for Cobb.

I think Daunte was playing with this pain from the get go. However, the severity of it might of not been as bad until the regular season started. If I remember correctly, the last two games he played he was barely moving around.

To a certain degree, I wish Saban would of never played him, he would of been better off at this stage.

Probably right. Would probably have a better record too. =/
