Did anyone else catch that? It was right after a commercial break, during the fourth quarter. As CBS came back on the air, one of the announcers, who obviously didn't know that the mike was live, said to the other: "Horrible play calling!" About whom do you think he was talking? Don't get me wrong; I'm ecstatic about the win... but at the end there, I have to agree with him. Thank God for our defense!

LOL I heard it too, We were all saying it, face it only time we moved the ball was when Harrington was changing the plays in the first half. I suspect he got chewed out in the locker room at halftime because he didn't change plays at all in the second half even though it was working so well in the first half.

Yea I think that was the fumble play . . . was a terrible play call. I mean u have a 2 score lead, and u are running the ball for 4 or 5 yards a pop . . . pound that thing man, no need for that . . . honestly if I was Nick and we lost that game because of that nonsense I would have gotten rid of Mularky right after the game . . . I mean u can't change your philosophy when u have the lead in the 4th quarter, but don't become stupid.

Mularkey has to go... with the game almost put away all we gotta do is run ronnie and keep the clock moving but its like he is playing madden, mularkey tries to go for the juggular, and it doesn't work. end of 4th quarter lets do some WR screens and dbl reverses and punt the ball without running off the clock yay!!!

yeah, I'm really curious to hear what Saban says to try to sugar coat it. If Mularkey isn't gone after the season, something is seriously wrong.

3 OCs in 3 years.. YEAH that's the ticket..

lets not forget to rag moolarkee for the half back pass from the 5 we pound the ball down there throats all the way down the feild and this idiot wnats to get all cutsey next to the goal line wtf

I flipped on the highlights they show on NBC and they made a joke about the playcalling as well. Something about Ronnie throwing the ball and the reverse in the 4th quarter. I love continuity, but Mike Mularkey is the biggest moron on the face of the planet. I'd rather have "Ask Madden" running the offense.

That wasn't as bad a play call, its different from the 2 point play call earlier this season because they had more room to work with and had more downs after the play. . . I think it was an option for Brown and I thought he had running room, but also the pass was a little bit off. Being that it was on first down, I'm pretty sure Brown was told, if its not there don't mess with it, and only throw it if its safe.

Was a bit crazy call, but I don't mind that in a OC sometimes . . . but the reverse at that time of the game was ridiculous.

If you look at that play again you will see that Ronnie could of walked the ball in. I couldn't believe it right befor Ronnie thru the ball the defensive back moved away from that area and Ronnie could of just walked in. Bummed me out.....

yeah, I thought ronnie should ahve tucked and ran that in after he saw lenny walls bite on that. that whole left side was wide open, with his speed and size he would have gotten the score there easily. you can't fault ronnie for not doing it, but the playcalling is just minor league type crap. this is the pros, not college. all the players have great speed and great game smarts, not just 2 or 3 guys like in college.

I thought he had room to run as well. There was a KC player closing in, but I still think Ronnie would have came close to scoring if he would have ran.
