This makes me feel like he wants to go to a team that needs rebuilding instead of a team that just needs a QB (us) kind of dissapointing

What this tells me is "I wanna go to a team and be the hero (and get paid a lot to do it)" With this attitude I don't want Brees.
 
Well he is not signed anywhere else so we still have a chance and there is no other city like San Diego like Miamai ( Wheather wise ) and Saban is commiting to win and the Dolphins are on the way up while the Saints are stuck in the mudd. Him saying alot of the stuff to the media is him saying what he should say and not sounding like a jerk

I dunno it just seems like he wants to be a hero too much. I mean if he came here he would be a hero cuz he would be the first "real" QB we had since Marino but i just don't like the attitude he has. I'm hoping I'm wrong here cuz I want a great QB as much as the rest of you.

not to be negative but do u really think the weather will make him come here? He wants to go somewhere and turn that team around. We don't need to be turned around, just turned up a notch.

Brees is not a hero type... They had games in SD where they'd only throw 15 times - if the ground game was clicking.

He's a game manager type.

Keep in mind, he was talking to NO reporters. They were asking him about living in plush SD or plush Miami or ravaged NO. ANd nothing about his ccareer has been decided yet. What else do you think he was going to say?
 
....oooooooooooh just maybe....maybe he's just posturing for a better contract? Nahhhhh! An NFL player wouldnt do that!

about Brees,the main reason I would think he would not want to go the Saints is that it may be another Rivers type situation. What if the Saints draft a QB , then Brees is in the same type of situation he just left.

U make a good point and I hope you are right. I just expect the worse so that way I don't get dissapointed.
