MERGED8X-JT disses Merriman/getting raked in San Diego.

JT should have kept quite and let the voters vote, now it seems like he is looking for votes, and he didn't need to do that!

He's the best and should be voted so. I think it sends the wrong message if that kid is elected.

I agree with Jason mostly because Im very anti-steroid anti-cheating.

Also I see Merriman as a glorified Defensive End, he makes some great plays and is great at what he does, but he isnt very multi-dimensional.

JT is great....its so sad his best years are on non-playoff
teams.

He's frustrated.

It's understandable, but, it's not up to JT to be the moral compass
of the NFL.

I don't think the truth is disrespect, but, all things considered, it's
best left unsaid by a peer.

you can tell jt is crazy for that award.

But yea if you use something toenchance your play well then that cheating.

JT is the voice of reason, Merriman is a cheat, who's to say that he isnt on roids anymore? plus the kid is suppsoedly 22 years old, ive seen clips of him in high school, and he looked like a 30 year old man when he was a high school senior, its clear to me he is been on the juice for a long time, there is no way you look like that at 22 without being on the juice.

How is that dissing Merriman?

Well, he basically said Merriman isn't worthy of the defensive MVP, that's not exactly a ringing endorsement. For what it is worth, Merriman strongly denies having taken steroids.

JT is my favorite phin, but I don't see why he had to say this. Everyone thinks he is the MVP defensively, and this looks as if he is pining for votes, whether that be his intent or not.

He is right and it is refreshing for an athlete to take a stand. Merriman is a stud and will learn from the mistake. However, Jason Taylor and Champ Bailey took care of business on and off the field and should be rewarded as such.
