Mergedx2 Dolphins plan to sign former Giants QB Sage Rosenfels.

My favorite memory of Sage Rosenfels when he was here in Miami was when he started Rent-a-Sage.

He was the 3rd string QB and he started (for charity, in his defense) a service where you could pay him to appear at your parties or events and just hang out. It was hilarious. My roommate and I wrote to him and invited him to come to our apartment and play Madden with us. We offered to pay him with free pizza which we would buy, but it's BYOB. LOL.

I guess he took a lot of heat for it and got all upset at the responses he was getting because he was trying to do it for charity and here people (like me) were being total dicks about it.

Ah the memories.

Welcome back, Lion of Judah.

Lol wow we've come full circle right back to 2007. now we need to bring back Camarillo to ensure that we aren't the first and only team to go both undefeated and defeated.

Sage Rosenfels? With 12 games left, you sign Sage Rosenfels? I am calling it now... Jeff Ireland is NOT going to be fired at the end of the season. If your job is on the line, do you sign Sage Rosenfels and bypass Garrard or the trade market? I think he has been told that he is most likely safe and Ross has said don't spend any more money and don't waste draft picks. In essence, Suck for Luck.

Maybe I am being premature and Ireland is burning up the phones but it all seems very suspicious.

Haha. Yeah, I remember Rent-a-Sage. Maybe he still has the same program and we just hired him to make "appearances"... in the locker room, in the meeting rooms, and then holding a clipboard on the sideline until it's his turn to go in there and get his head ripped off.

it might be important who the backup QB is if we were thinking about having a somewhat successful season. we weren't winning with henne, we likely won't be winning with matty moore, so if moore goes down we weren't likely winning with whoever his backup was or whoever was brought in. on one hand i'd really like to see pat devlin, on the other hand he might be successful wins-wise.

Is the coaching staff trying to flush the season down the toilet?

I'm seriously starting to entertain the thought that the owner was on the 'suck for luck' bandwagon immediately after a famous meeting with the a certain NFC West coach
