Mergedx2 Dolphins plan to sign former Giants QB Sage Rosenfels.

I don't know what saddens me the most, that the team with THE worst QB signing, trade, and draft track record in the last decade has actually re-signed one of their former QBs or that there is a Dolphin fan soul in the milky way that would be glad to witness the acquisition.

What's the big deal? QB's come back to teams all the time. And I, for one, am extremely glad that we went with a player who was a Dolphin QB once, had some spectacular moments as a Dolphin, was given more of a chance to play elsewhere and did some pretty good things, than some guy like Brodie Croyle or Trent Edwards, who have no talent whatsoever and except for the Dolphin logo on their helmet would give little reason to actually root for them.

S-A-G-E Im Down...Mans got a cannon arm and has been training like Shane Falco to get ready for this moment in time. Mark my words (post) 3 weeks from now Dolphin fans everywhere will have forgot all the hanging Chads we have had under center and rally behind the Sage.

So exciting...
Game-ON!!!!

In 2005, Rosenfels led Miami's biggest comeback since 1974, when he entered their Week 13 game against the Buffalo Bills. After Gus Frerotte was sidelined by a concussion in the third quarter, Rosenfels entered the game with the Dolphins trailing 23–3. Rosenfels led the team on three fourth-quarter scoring drives, as he through for 272 yards and 2 touchdowns, as they beat the Bills, 24–23. I think Chambers had 200 yards recieving that day.
Two weeks later, Rosenfels entered the game at halftime versus the New York Jets with the score tied 10–10, and led them on two scoring drives to get the win 24–20.

When was the last time we had a fourth quarter scoring drive for a win ??????

Then the was that great 17 point comeback he had on the 5th of October 2008 vs the colts in Houston. Down buy 17 with under 8 minutes he brought the Texans back for the win. Wait a second I'm wrong he was up buy 17 with 8 minutes to go. And still up buy 10 with 3:50 to go he single handed lost the game for the Texans. With 2 fumbles and a int that makes a Henne int look good because there wasn't a wr 10 yards of his throw. Yep the Great Sage the savior of ****** and Ireland, there is a reason he has been a career backup in the NFL.

Why don't we recount the amazing comebacks that Henne had against NO, NE, CLE, DET, etc.?

WHat does it matter who we signed as a backup? He will be gone this offseason anyways. Do you really think Ross is still sure we will make that super bowl run this year? SUCK FOR LUCK in full effect!

I've always liked Sage and wished he had more of a shot in Miami. He would have been better than Henne.

Lets not forget when Rosenfels played for the Redskins and whooped us that one time. I think he had over 300 yards passing, 3 TDs, and was over 70% for completions. Oh I dont remember exactly, but I do remember the game. He destroyed us lol
