Mergedx2:Dolphins work out TE Dante Rosario

always liked the potential of rosario but the reality is he couldnt make a bad Denver team

Word in Denver is not that he could not make the team, they just decided to go with the guys they drafted. He would not be a bad signing as a backup really.

i would bring in rosario also but its a pretty fair bet that he'll get hurt at some point...seems to be the way things have gone for him of late...a lot of time in the training room

but this guys another guy who can't block a paper bag so i wouldn't be asking him to handle guys in line...or be a solo pass protector for anything really

if he had been good there im sure they would have kept him

Denver has some intriguing TE's on their roster so I don't see it as an indicitment on him for not making the team. I'd be interested but with us just signing Yeatman this week, I think we'll need Mastrud as our backup TE against New England. It'd be pretty hard going in there with only 1 TE knowing the offense

intriguing maybe but none of them have been very good so far

I think this would be a great pick up. We can sign him and cut Spitler

Considering just how bad our TE situation is, he could see some playing time if he can remain healthy.

I asked around on Rosario and was told he conducted his workout yesterday afternoon. I was told at the time a contract was not offered, but it is believe they would be negotiating one today. You know how contract negotiations can go so I will say there is 50-50 chance we sign him.

Also Mike Klis of Denver Post tweeted he believes chances look good for Rosario & Miami, We'll see.

That would mean that the current number 2 tight end for Miami would go; Miami is not going to keep 4 tight ends if you count Clay.

He is a Dolphin and so is Ryan Cook, an OL. And yes, the Dolphins are keeping three tes and Clay and worse, they have cut Edds to keep Spitler. Hum.
