Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown suffered a sprained right thumb in Saturday's exhibition game at Jacksonville and is "day to day," coach Tony Sparano said today at his daily news conference.
Sparano said Brown won't practice when the team takes the field at 2 p.m. today.
Brown was the only significant injury Saturday night. Sparano said rookie defensive end Kendall Langford, who injured his left elbow, is fine. Defensive end Vonnie Holliday, out all last week with a hamstring injury, may return to practice today. Linebacker Charlie Anderson will continue to sit out with a hamstring injury.
