MERGEDx2: Jim Reid taken to hospital

Linebackers coach Jim Reid was taken to the hospital for evaluation because he was feeling ill after taking a run after the morning practice.

He was placed on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance in front of the team’s practice facility in Davie. Reid, 57, was talking and lucid, telling medical personnel he’d been running for 10 minutes.

I hope he is ok.

Parmele cut and Linebacker coach taken to hospital!

Hi everybody, don´t know if this has been posted but Jalen Parmele was let go today to make room for a new te from Greenbay Joey Haynos.

Haynos was a guy that Miami had contact with before the draft, he is 6´7 around 270 pounds and ran about 4.84 forty at his pro day, he also did 19 reps. bench press.

Parmele was a guy many thought was a nice find for a late round pick, he showed promise in training camp and I´am sorry to see him go, it would be nice if we can get him through waivers and on the PS.

Linebackers coach Jim Reid after taking a jog after morning practice began to feel ill and was taken to the hospital, I hope everything is ok that can be devastating to a young team if his health take a turn for the worst.

i met Reid when he was coach at UR....very warm and genuine guy who cared about his kids...helluve defensive mind too. Really hope it's ok with him
