Mergedx2: JT-Will this make U feel better?

JT still got something left in the tank, hill probably only play 3rd downs but thats all we need him for.

the reason people were whinning last year is because JT wanted wayy to much money and was not on the same page as BP. everything is all good and well now that hes back and will retire a phin.

Jason Taylor-nothings guranteed..riot act expectations

This was explained to Taylor in no uncertain terms. His 11 previous seasons of stellar service helps get him a return Miami engagement, but what he does now with the opportunity will be judged independently from his reputation.

Taylor knows from his conversations with Sparano that he must prove he's still better than the players he's competing against. And if a roster decision comes down to him and a younger player who plays as well and also promises to be around longer, Taylor could be the odd man out based on that younger player's future value.

Super Star Status is checked at the door with this regime..

Us whiners? You mean the fans who expect one of your leaders to lead by example in the off season for your very young team? GTFO with that garbage. Taylor should have been going hard in EVERY off-season without having to be threatened.

That said, I also think he has something left in the tank...especially if he gets into football shape before half the season is over.

trust that he reports to camp in better shape than most the new kids. having him would help out everyone in the front 7. the'll all learn from him greatly.

Jason being here for OTA's and the rest of the mini-camps makes me feel better than anything else. After last year he learned a hard lesson about how being "in shape" doesn't necessarily equate to "football shape."

I hope for his sake that he gets himself in shape before OTAs begin.

It would be embarassing as hell if he doesn't make the team.

Based on the fact that Redskins were willing to pay him over 8 mill this
season I think he will revert to his former playing self.

I can't wait to see Brady going down from Porter or JT when we play
them.

Jason Taylor knows exactly what is expected of him

Jason Taylor apparently is OK with not starting for the Dolphins this coming season because he has been told he probably won't. He apparently recognizes the importance of the team's offseason workout program, the one he famously skipped last offseason, because he has been told it's important to the team.

Taylor is even agreeable to earning his way onto Miami's roster, beating out less-accomplished but younger players, because he has been told if he doesn't, his return will be short-lived.

Taylor knows exactly where he stands with coach Tony Sparano and football czar Bill Parcells.

And that is a refreshing, wonderful thing.

Unlike Cam Cameron, the last Dolphins coach Taylor played for, the regime running the Dolphins now doesn't have the gift of double-talk. They do not say one thing and do another, as Nick Saban did.

Saban is perhaps the most eloquent, articulate orator since Abe Lincoln so just lay off.
