MergedX2: Official Chris Hannon to Miami Thread

Damn who is this guy lol.

I have minor info. Went to high school in florida. riverview right down the street from me. Went to univeristy of Tennessee 6'3 205 has bounced around practice squads since going undrafted. Has only been on an NFl roster once prior to us signing him and that was the previous week. Move along nothing to see here lo,l.

To go with that info.

I know he ran a 4.46 in the '06 combine. When I watched him, he wasn't great, but he made good catches with his hands.

My guess is that he's just intel, but you never know.

well they get info on the 9ers and maybe found another project

huge project since he has not been able to stay on an NFl squad for more than a week. X is prob right just here to be used for info. Not sure how he is a better fit than Armstrong for the roster unless he is only here to use for info.

That's probably the case, cause even if Armstrong were not brought up just yet, there are better receivers than Hannon on the market out there.

Camarillo, Bess and even Wes Welker were all undrafted wide receivers. Some good players take longer to develop or didn't fit the prototypical size, speed metrics. Our new front office are showing some skill in finding some prospects where other teams have looked - eg Polite. He might have something to offer...

Its a huge crapshoot but Fb is quite differant since most teams only carry one while most teams carry 5 receivers.

True....... but there's no harm in seeing if they can make something of the dude. so far they seem have nice finds for the future in bess and london. i'd like to see armstrong get a try seeing how he can probably be used on kick returns and effective on quick passes
