I'm honestly not surprised. Those RB picks were throwaways. I wasn't surprised to see one big back drafted, but, honestly....I think those moves were mistakes and felt that way from draft day.

We were able to bag Davone Bess and Dan
Carpenter, so they were not really wasted picks when you replace them with Bess and Carpenter. I love how we keep adding lineman. You can never have enough depth at the position.

Tight end Joey Haynos, a former walk-on at Maryland, was signed off Green Bay's practice squad to take Parmele's spot.

Haynos, who caught 68 passes for 687 yards and four touchdowns during his career at Maryland, is 6 feet 8, 270 pounds.

Tight end Drew Atchison, who was signed to the practice squad less than two weeks ago, was also released, making room for guard Matt McChesney to join the eight-player practice squad.

McChesney began his NFL career as a defensive tackle with the Rams in 2005. He was signed to the Jets' practice squad midway through his rookie season before being activated to the team's 53-man roster for the final three games.

He spent all of 2006 on the Jets' practice squad before being converted to the offensive line during the 2007 offseason. McChesney spent the first two games of the 2008 season on the Jets' practice squad before being released.
