DAVIE - Less than eight months after sustaining a season-ending knee injury, Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown took part in 11-on-11 team drills for the first time this week, a sign that points to a full return by next month's training camp.

"It's a big step,'' said Brown after Thursday's practice, the final organized team activity session until the start of training camp in late July. "A step closer to getting ready for the season and getting ready for training camp.

"It felt pretty good. The previous week I felt pretty good but I've been limited a little bit, just doing some individual drills and some other things. For the last few days I've been able to participate and it feels pretty good to be back out on the field."

Can't wait for the R&R Express to be full force.

Lets hope he can break his luck of being injured every single year. If he can we should have a break-out year but if he can't Parcells and co. drafted 2 more backs for a reason and Ricky being in his final year isn't the only one IMO.

as good as that is to read,i hope he doesn't try and rush himself back just to play and end up with another ACL injury or an even worse one. i also hope the coaches don't try and rush him back, which i don't think they will though.

Don't expect him this year to be the RB we saw on the field last year before he got hurt. No RB who tears up a knee comes back as effective a year out. Hopefully he will avoid further injury and be a major contributor.

With Ricky and the two talented rooks I don't see the staff pushing him if he's not feelin it.

Why would they rush him, No to long ago there was a video posted of him on here and how dedicated he was to coming back.

daunte said he was ready to come back if i remember correctly

Their injury aren't even comparable! You give Daunte a 100 years and he'd never be ready. Ronnie had a PARTIAL teal of his ACL. Duante had a complete tear of his MCL,ACL, and LCL.

Two things. First and foremost, Daunte Culpepper is an idiot. Secondly, as the previous poster stated, the injuries aren't even comparable. Daunte's entire knee blew apart, while Ronnie only had an ACL tear.

What's the over/under on regular season games that both Ronnie and Ricky are healthy for? I say 4.

he was mad dope before he got hurt last year- if he heals up 100%, he'll be money with the rock again
