I have read on two Cowboys websites that Quincy Carter is getting a workout from the Dolphins tomorrow. This (poor) blog mentions it:

Why not!!!!! With the Miami Dolphins being the new wasteland of Dallas Cowboy cast offs, taking over the title from Arizona Cardinals. There are rumores that Quincy Carter is going to get a workout with the Dolphins tomorrow.. Quincy Carter and RIcky Williams on the same team, can you say, the great Dolphin smoke out... Apparently Vinny testaverde cant get out of the rocking chair

This thread on CowboysZone says that Michael Irvin reported on a local radio show that he had sources saying the same information about Carter getting a workout:

If true, my question is, WHY? :err:
 
WOW, WOW, WOW... I don't think any of us expected us to bring in another QB. But CARTER?!! When was the last time he was relevent? I don't know about this. So who are they rethinking McCown? Beck?
 
i guess if anybody on the team needs some coke, now is the time to ask
 
If this is true, I think Parcells and Ireland needs to submit to a drug test because they would have to be on something to even be considering this.
 
After hearing some of the camp reports they might be thinking Beck is not the future. Our they could just be trying to give some competation to Beck and McCown.
