For that 2nd pick on the out by him, you know nothing of football. Absolutely nothing. That pick touched his fingertips, but there was no way he could of caught that. Joey threw a bullet when Mcmike was 5 yards away. The ball was over-thrown.

And stop these idiotic threads of trading McMike. When caught 8 balls against NYJ, I didnt see any bullcrap trade/cut him threads. Of course hes going to drop balls, however if the ball is thrown to him 10 times or more/62, hes bound to drop one or two. Stop blaming him, blame the team. The team is the one that starts the downfall, and you all are looking for a scapegoat on offense. If you want a scapegoat, pick on the Linemen, not our TE.

Hes one of the few TE's in the league that can run good routes, has speed, and can catch the ball. The negative effects in losing kills confidence, and thats what it has done to his ability and the others recievers ability to catch all the balls

why did u feel the need to start another thread? too good to post in one of the other hundred threads?

as for mcmike, he cant block, has gooten lazy and needs to go

thank you and how does randy contrrol where the ball bounces

Generally, when a ball bounces off a recievers hands and into a defenders I like to blame them. Usually because its their fault.

:shakeno: He is horrible, can't block, lets balls bounce of his chest, and then complains he does not get the ball.

Get over it!

You blame the receiver when half the ball touches his hands,
now if it was the quarter of the ball you cant blame the receiver all the time.
Yes it catchable but its extremly hard and the ball was thrown to far anyway, he tried his all and bounced the other way and thats the qb fault.

But please i didnt see those drops cause i was at the doctor i saw the late 3rd quarter or early 4th quarter.

Can someone show us both drops by mike.

McMichael had a bad game. He also gave up a sack to Woodson. He may have given up the sack to Hawk. Unclear.

It is troubling when the ball is bouncing off of McMichael's chest. He should be trying to catch with his hands. You could get away witch pad-catching with Jay Fiedler. Not with Frerotte or Harrington who throw hard.

At least one of the passes was overthrown.

Two McMichael drops led to ints. He may have had two more drops. 4 drops is too many.

Please. Saban admitted he should have caught the ball, and I'm guessing that despite the team's record he probably knows more football than an 18 year old.

Not too mention, those of us who have watched McMichael for his career know this is the same problems that have prevented him from becoming an elite TE- his mouth is bigger than his hands.

I remember my coach saying to me.. If it hits my hands.. I should catch it. Favre throws bullets.. his receivers catch em.

dawg correct but towards you theres no excuse, but getting away from you is different.

So now if joe montana threw that famous ''catch'' to wes welker and welker gave it his all and jumped and the most he could do was tip it,its welkers fault and he dropped it right? :rolleyes2

I really see it as both of their fault now that I've gone and looked at it a couple more times. It hit the very tips of McMichael's hands, technically if the ball hits your hands you should catch it, but it was a terrible throw regardless and shouldn't have been thrown in the first place. That INT was much more Harrington's fault than the Welker tipped INT which was pretty iffy too.

What games are you watching? You want to know 1 reason why I have doubts about this coaching staff or at least the O side of the ball - they keep a guy like McMike in to block - WHY? He cannot block a pop warner kid let alone an NFL player. Woodson's comments told it all - he almost laughed that he was so untouched. That can't happen! He drops as many balls as he catches and when he does catch tem you have to hold your breath that he doesn't fumble. He is not the only reason but he is defintely not the solution. He is overpaid and overrated!!

Barney, you know nothing about football. God forbid he actually has to dive for the ball every now and then.

McMichael is fat and out of shape. He likes to body catch every pass. Very inconsistent. He blows.

yeah i dont blame mcmike on that one. i dont see how he can physically catch that. its either harringtons fault or just horrendous bad luck which is pretty much our season. their defensive backs make the picks and ours let the picks slip through their hands and hit the ground
