Merling and Murtha sign RFA contracts

artis hicks is a joke, regardless of what scheme he best fits...

I said it before I say again, keep putting mediocre players out on that field to play football, and we'll keep having mediocre seasons....

Well maybe someone should hire you and Dlockz our as our GMS then - and we would have missed out on Cam Wake - oh sorry that's not gonna happen because "we sit behind computers and critique real GMs"

Who knows if we would have missed on Cameron Wake since plenty of teams went to see him. I know I will never be a GM but I would definately be looking all over for talent the good part is we would not have traded 2 number 2 s for Marshall and would not have selected pat white,

I dont get why people feel that fans that watch football all the time have no right to question or critique a gm's moves. I mean should we not have an opinion.
so when you watch football I guess you have no opinion since you are not a pro ball player, no opinion on anything that is not your occupation

Cannot wait to see Murtha go against Mario Williams

Murtha is just as much a freak athlete as Mario Williams, probably more so considering the weight difference. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=33889&draftyear=2009&genpos=ot

If Murtha is healthy don't expect much from Mario, however, Murtha is rarely healthy.

If Murtha could have stayed healthy in college he would have been drafted high. If he could have stayed healthy as a pro he may have been a highly paid LT by now, but, he gets injured every year, and even when isn't on IR he is usually playing hurt.

Murtha when healthy was never one of the best linemen in college. He was a good tackle but never close to a top player
