Merling not seriously Injured

X-rays came back negative on Dolphins DE Phillip Merling's ankle, but it's unclear when he'll return.

He's in a protective boot, but it's reportedly only a precaution. The backup end has eight tackles, one sack, and a fumble recovery through four weeks.

The coverage of the game was terrible. I saw the play where Merling went down, and I was trying to see how serious it looked, but they cut to some stupid game recap without making any mention of Merling. I was cursing at the TV pretty hard. My dog was very concerned.

That's really great news. When he went down he looked like he was in a lot of pain.

My dogs always seem concerned on Dolphin Gamedays, they like to stay outside more than usual, :) I wonder WHY??
